Our price list is in European currency available. Depending on the daily exchange rate
1 Euro is approx. 1- 1.05 US$. We send outside EU without 16% value added tax.
That means you get price 16% less than marked out in the price list.
The
price list has a price of 116 % you get 100% price.

We offer brochures of each model maker.
You can order them inside our online store.
We only sell them by advanced payment.
From abroad you can remit the payment

Shipping is quite expensive.

How get I information about price
of a single model?
Check our online store, all prices inside.
Download our pricelist from our homepage by Acrobat reader.
Go to our homepage and click price list.
As far as you have clicked a window will open, if not you have to install Acrobat reader.
Therefore click Acrobat button. All what you have to do is to download acrobat.
Remember the file on your disc and click it in order to enlarge the program.
Than
click again on our link "pricelist". Print it out- that` s all.
Unfortunately all prices shown
in Euro and they include 16% Value added tax.
If we send models outside the EU
we do not charge V.A.T .That means the price is reduced by 16%.

How do they ship models?
We send our models with the German
mail (Deutsche Post AG)
Delivery time depends on the location.
Our experiences:
U.K. about 5 days, Japan, Taiwan,
USA, Australia, New Zealand about 10 days.
For deliveries
abroad we do no overtake any liability.
We check the models and pack them
very careful but we have no influence
on the delivery quality. It could
happen that the package is damaged than you
have to claim this at your local
parcel distributor.
Our experience is that we have no
problems with damaged models if we send models
by premium tariff because it is
combined with air freight.
The risk is
very low if you decide premium shipping tariff.
What is the price for shipment?
We calculate the shipping cost depending
on the location.
Normally a models weight is around
1 kg (scale 1:50). We calculate 2-4 kg for wrapping.

you can see the shipping costs depending on location and weight.

We bill the real cost, depending
on weight ( weight of the finished parcel) and model
costs. Depending on the bank fee
it could happen that our offer is a little bit different
to the charged costs if we charge
by Visa.

What is the duration of shipment
to my location?
The delivery time depends on the
availability of the
models. If we have all models in
store we need 2-3
days to dispatch them. If it complicated
like Zon models
we need more time because we have
to check each item.
If some models are not in store,
we need the time

Do they give warranty on the
deliveries?
Depending on long distances we have
different conditions.
Internal the EU we have full shipping
warranty.
For deliveries
abroad (outside EU) we do no overtake any liability.
Warranty is
very difficult because we need to know what is demaged
We only can
offer warranty, if we can see very clear, by photo for example,
that our send
model is damaged.
We can not
change the models, we only can send spare parts or
reduce the
price later.
What they do if a model is not
available?
If we have a model not in store
we finish the
order without the model.
We inform the customer about the
availability but
we do not wait longer than two weeks.
Otherwise the customer has to order
again.
If someone is interested in special
and specific models
we order the model as far as the
advanced payment is done.
We have had many orders which were
refused when the models
arrived in our store. We do not
want this situation in future.

Do they accept checks?
Depending on high bank fees we do
not accept payment by checks.
When will the novelties be available?
Novelties are official shown on
the Nuremberg Toy show in February every year.
The fair is in first week in February.
Model maker often show their prototypes
on the fair and decide afterwards
the delivery date, depending on
the customer requests during the fair.
Some models are available 4-8 weeks
after the fair. Most of the models
are available 2-3 month after the
fair.
We inform about the launch date
on our price lists so far we are informed.
On our Siku price list you can find
the official launch dates at the end of the list.
Conrad shows the launch dates on
their home page.
Whey does some models have so
long delivery times?
The most requested models from NZG,
Conrad, ROS, Norscot
are custom made models.
Tools and die cast are paid by their
customers.
Tooling costs for a model scale
1:50 are about 100.000 up to 250.000 US$.
Depending on that the customer has
to pay for tooling, service packing and model
he has the lonely right to sell
the models for normally a half year.
Absolute normal conditions for a
contract between customer and model maker.
So far the half year passed the
model make is allowed to sell the models
to the domestic market.
If the request for the custom made
model was very high that the customer sold all models
internal the half year or earlier
the next production by the model maker will be
as far as capacity is free. Depending
on that the customer is willing to produce a new
series. If he is not willing no
model will be produced. If he is willing he has to wait
for free capacity. This could take
a half year. Depending on the operating performance
of the model maker.
A model maker is not allowed to
produce models by them self.
On the other hand it could happen
that the model maker is willing to produce and
the license owner of the brand name
refuse it.
This happened to Joal in Spain with
Caterpillar.
Toys: Siku, Britains,
Producer of toys are only interested
in wholesale markets.
Collectors are heard but they have
no influence of their behavior.
Capacities of the production have
the first influence of the launch date.
Toy producer are steering their
capacities depending of the result of toy fairs and market request.
That's the reason for the different
launch dates of model maker like Siku.
Special collectable models : Zon,
Smith, Arpra, Shinsei, Old cars and several small manufacturer.
This models are loved and hard to
achieve.
The reason is that small model
maker have to look for free capacity at foundries.
Sometimes they have to wait for
more than a half year.
Often a hobby was the base for their
model making .
Many customers think that a company
with a interesting name covers a huge model making company.
Absolutely wrong, most times small
manufactures with some employees produce
step by step small quantities of
very specific limited requested models.
Very good model maker like Mr. van
der Zon is one of the very specialized experts in the model making world.
Unfortunately we have to wait sometimes
for the work of the experts.
